We made a promise


It's been almost a hundred days since our last update and for that I apologize. I took some time off after the campaign to sit back and reflect on all that had happened. Progress on the project is still a little slow but we've hit major milestones in my opinion. From the older builds to now I've added 

-Completely redesigned overworld sprites for Jeeve and Jayla

-Proper loading screens

-Improved physics: Characters move faster, Jump collisions fixed, overall collision tweaked

-Options menu has proper keyboard controls and applying different resolutions no longer softlock the game

-Combat now has indicators (displays what's being pointed at)

-Combat now has victory animations 

and there's plenty more down the pipeline! We're making good strides I'd say to a revised demo, but the bottleneck is always the animation. It still costs quite a bit for even one animation to be made and without a budget we have to improve them when we can. We're still working towards fixing them as quickly as we can but it's most certainly going to take some time.

Now I've been asked when and if we're heading back to kickstarter for round two and the answer is most likely yes. I haven't set a date in mind, but I certainly do want to give crowdfunding another shot. I believe with our improved presentation we can really make a splash! It's been quite some time since we last demoed the game as well so expectations will be high to see what we've improved and I don't want to leave anyone unsatisfied! We'll be taking things one step at a time and we'll be sure to keep you all in the loop! Thanks for sticking with us this long!
